JEFF LOFTON'S 1950s MILES DAVIS TRIBUTE

Be a Jazz Patron!

Dear Jazz Fans,

Dean here, Jeff's wife and publicist. As many of you know, we are a mom 'n pop business and work with a lean budget with our focus to get "Jazz to the People." We need the help of jazz fans to keep making new albums and producing more jazz shows!

We are offering Jeff Lofton's Jazz Patrons program again to support his new album "Jericho" releasing this years. Funds will specifically help with finishing the album, a new website, concert videos, touring expenses and professional radio promotion. We are also exploring creating a non-profit organization to help sustain jazz performances and education and to assist with pursuing grants.

Jeff Lofton's Jazz Patrons can support his new album, "Jericho," with a $1,000, $1,500 or $2,000 donation. In return the jazz fan receives a Jeff Lofton Solo, Trio or Quartet (respectively) performance at a private event, such as a dinner party or special event like an anniversary or birthday party.

Additionally, some Patrons in the past have "re-gifted" the performance to a non-profit fundraising event. The Breast Cancer Resource Center in Austin and The Nobelity Project have both been beneficiaries of Jeff Lofton's Jazz Patrons!

We've also worked with Patrons to make monthly payments or host a house concert with friends chipping in to make the donation.

When you support Jeff Lofton, you're supporting more than just one musician - you're supporting the jazz ecosystem! Jeff employs other jazz musicians regularly with his private events, weekly residencies, and self-produced events and recordings.

The new album, "Jericho," includes pianist jazz legend Dr. James Polk (Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Lionel Hampton Orchestras), Grammy-winning drummer Ernie Durawa (Los Jazz Votas, Texas Tornados), bassist Glenn Schuetz (Jimmy LaFave Band), drummer Steve Mankenburg and more.

The album also features two different versions of "Compared to What" - one with Austin blues woman Carolyn Wonderland, and the other with Murali Coryell, son of jazz guitar legend Larry Coryell.

Here are a few words from previous Jazz Patrons:

"I am so thrilled that Jeff Lofton chose to put down roots in Austin. He is helping to keep jazz alive in this town. Not only is he an outstanding musician, he is also a prominent community leader, lending his talents to the arts and non-profit organizations." - Donna DiCarlo, Board President, Breast Cancer Resource Center

"Becoming a patron for Jeff Lofton is one of the most fun and rewarding things I've ever done. Jeff played at one of my creme de la creme cocktail parties last year for gawd's sake! How hip is that?!" - SueAnn Wade-Crouse, Gals, Very Smart Gals Blog

"As a business owner, I consider it a privilege to sponsor Jeff Lofton's shows, and be part of such a creative outlet that enhances the beauty of our city. As a parent, it brings me joy knowing that I can share great musical experiences with my children and show them that if you want to truly make a difference, you have to put your money where your mouth is. It is a partnership that makes beautiful music!" - Marina Lawson, Lord and Lawson Realty
